A former farmer with deep family roots in Ventura County, President Dave Lee relocated to Santa Maria, CA while still farming around 1980.  In 1989, with the help from Chuck Wilson of Chuck's Frost Protection in Somis, CA, he founded Central Coast Frost Protection in Santa Maria, CA to serve the growing demand for frost protection equipment in northern Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Monterrey Counties. That company grew rapidly in the 1990's. In 1997, the retirement of Chuck Wilson led to the purchase of Chuck's Frost Protection and incorporation of the two companies to form Coast Frost Protection, Inc. After offering different brands of wind machines over the years, C.F.P.I. became the authorized area distributor of Orchard-Rite  Ltd Wind Machines based in Yakima, WA. manufacturers of high quality product with the fastest availability in the industry. New, used and rental equipment is available as well as an experienced service staff. We have many parts for all brands and older wind machines as well.
